B787 Dreamliner

A dream in the making.

The industry-leading technology of the 787 Dreamliner is creating remarkable opportunities for Austin's Airways to dramatically improve the air travel experience. The B787's unparalleled fuel efficiency and ultra long range flexibility enables new, profitable long haul routes, as well as optimizations to our fleet and network performance. And for passengers, an experience like none other in the air, with more comfort and less fatigue. That's a better way to fly.

One brilliant debut.

Carbon Fiber Composite Materials

All New Crisp Cut Engines

25% less fuel consumption

New Raked Wings

Made from the most advanced technologies and materials, the B787 Dreamliner incorporates new features that has never been seen before in the airlines industry. The B787 Dreamliner is one of the cleanest and most environmentally friendly jetliners in the world. New crisp-cut engines means that the B787 Dreamliner will burn up to 25% less fuel than previous generation aircrafts. The wings have been completely reengineered inside out; and the raked wingtips now gracefully flex and adapt to prevailing weather conditions, just like a bird. Boeing has also built the B787 Dreamliners out of carbon fibres and new light-weight reinforced plastic alloys. These composite polymer means that the B787 Dreamliner is much lighter, and can therefore burn much less fuel. Welcome to the future.

The vision has never been brighter.

Electronically controlled windows

2,000 ft lower cabin pressure

Surgical Grade HEPA Air Filters

Smooth and quiet flights

Mood lighting

Streamlined storage bins

The B787 Dreamliner introduces new electronically controlled windows. With just a tap, you can dim the windows or let in more light.

The windows are also the largest of any commercial jet, offering an unprecedented view of the horizon.

Cabin pressure can be reduced by more than 2,000 ft, resulting in higher oxygen concentrations in the air. More oxygen can reduce fatigue and ensure better rest.

2,000 ft

Lower cabin pressure

Swanky mood lighting span the entire cabin, helping you adjust to different time zones and phases of flight.

The new GEnx engines are the quietest in its class. They emit up to 30% less noise during take off and landing, dramatically reducing the externalities on residential areas near the airport.

30%

Quieter

Streamlined curved overhead storage bins are larger than ever, and can effortless stow carry-ons. A new mechanism securely locks them in place, and can be released with a simply push.
