As the sixth major generation of the iconic jumbo jet, the B747-8I has certainly flown a long way towards modern air travel. Made from the most advanced technologies, the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine jet manufactured by Boeing, a leading US aircraft manufacturer. The Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental is the world's second- largest commercial passenger aircraft, despite being the longest. With its iconic 747 hump which makes up the upper deck. Using 787-technology engines, the airplane will not only be quieter, more environmentally friendly, but will also achieve better fuel economy than any competing jetliner. It carries a lot more passengers, but burns 16% less fuel than the B747-400, and has up to 25% more cargo volume. And the best feature about this amazing aircraft is that, despite its size, it can use the existing infrastructure and ground equipment at most airports worldwide.
