BioPass uses state of the art technologies to accurately map the geometry of your face. The BioPass device analyses over 50,000 invisible dots projected onto your face, along with a captured infrared image, all in the fraction of a second. Furthermore, a depth sensor precisely detects your face in 3D, and matches the depth information against registered data. A sophisticated anti-spoofing neural network protects against spoofing by photographs and masks.

Multiple innovative technologies will scan your iris in real time to authenticate BioPass. An infrared LED illuminates your eyes, and the Iris Camera captures a very detailed picture of your iris, including the structure and the veins underneath, which is then compared to the stored data to confirm a match. And all of this is done blazing fast.

The patterns in your irises are unique to you and are virtually impossible to replicate, meaning iris authentication is one of the safest ways to authenticate yourself in BioPass.

With just a touch of your finger, a sensor quickly reads your fingerprint in fractions of a second. The fingerprint sensor in BioPass devices is made from sapphire crystal, which acts as a lens to precisely focus on your finger. It uses advanced capacitive touch to take a high-resolution image from small sections of your fingerprint. BioPass then intelligently analyses this information with a remarkable degree of detail and precision. It maps out individual details in the ridges that are smaller than the human eye can see, and even inspects minor variations in ridge direction caused by pores and edge structures. It then creates a mathematical representation of your fingerprint and compares this to your enrolled fingerprint data to identify a match.

Everytime you use BioPass, the system will incrementally update the mathematical representations of your enrolled facial maps, iris patterns, and fingerprints to improve matching accuracy for the next time. So every time you use BioPass, it gets even smarter at recognising you.
